Fix the Chapel

We have been contacted by the folks from fixthechapel.com - a restoration and fundraising organization to save the chapel featured in the original Night of the living Dead movie and we are more than willing to support them. Our t-shirt, button set and a very limited tote bag (edition of one ;-)) will be auctioned on ebay for the good cause. We will also design (and probably print) a custom illustration to donate. To find out more about the project visit www.fixthechapel.com

Urban Prey at "Herzensbrecher" show

Take a look at all our Strawberry Heart items for "Herzensbrecher" – a charity group show in favor of “Ein Herz für Kinder“ @ Strychnin Gallery in Berlin, opening on March 16. We sponsor the show with 32 of our t-shirts, some of them are being given away at Strychnin's blog from now until the opening of "Herzensbrecher" (you have to take part in a little quiz), the remaining will be given away to the guests of the opening. Additional Urban Prey items will also be available there during the show...

Custom Prints - Structural Integrity and Strawberry Heart

This custom request was for a heavy canvas bag. It's printed with raspberry metallic ink.
We got another custom request for our structural integrity t-shirt.
We think it looks great in black on green.

Unused Moth-Invasion Designs

Here are some alternative designs for our "Invasion of the Moths" T-Shirt. I still like the version with the old movie theater. We didn't use it because the single posters would have been too small on the T.

Wohoo, our "We are Losing Structural Integrity" T-Shirt got featured in "The Best of Geeky Screenprint" of Mom's Basement. Check out this blog, it is fun to read!

New Design "Dart Vader" - Making of

I like bad plays on words, so after "Dart Agnan", this is the next entry in my Dart related designs (more to come - fear the worst ;-)). The first draft was rejected (by my better half) because the legs didn't look right and the birds eye viewpoint didn't provide a menacing pose. I liked the next draft better, but wasn't happy with the weight of the lines, so I started over again and finalized the 3rd version. Separating the colors for the laser-effect was a bit tricky, but it turned out quite good.

At first I wanted to print everything that's white with a special glow-in-the-dark ink, but applying it only to the "lightdart" made more sense in the end.

Rio Lobo Screen damaged

Seems like I ruined the screen by applying to much dishwashing liquid while cleaning. It should have only removed rests of the color, instead it attacked the emulsion. From now on I'll only use this if its absolutely necessary. Although the effect of the damaged emulsion turned out interesting:
